Yes. All tools are free to use without an account or trial. The site is supported by advertising.
Are my files uploaded?
Most tools process files inside your browser and never upload them. Heavier tasks (compress, repair, OCR, PDF/A and Office or HTML conversions) run on our servers in the EU: the file is processed in memory, never stored, and deleted the moment your result is downloaded.
Is there a file size limit?
Browser tools have no fixed limit; large documents work on any recent computer. Server tools accept files up to 100 MB each.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Everything runs in your web browser on Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS and Android. You can optionally install the site as an app.
Which languages are supported?
The site is available in 30 languages; use the language menu in the header. OCR recognizes text in 30 languages, up to 5 per document.
Can I use it for confidential documents?
